EX60: Inspired by Volvo's Most Popular SUV
Volvo’s all-new EX60 brings the electric equivalent of the XC60 without a premium price tag. Positioned similarly to the XC60 plug-in hybrid, it’s expected to fill the gap between the full-sized EX90 and the compact EX30.
Built on Volvo’s innovative 800-volt SPA3 platform, the EX60 will offer up to 25% faster charging, 35% more drive power, and a powertrain designed to evolve via over-the-air updates. Next-generation, 20% more energy-dense batteries make it Volvo’s longest-range EV, while cost-saving measures like a structural battery pack and large megacastings allow Volvo to price it close to its PHEV counterpart.
XC60 Refresh
Volvo’s best-selling XC60 receives a major refresh, bringing upgrades in design, comfort, and technology. The interior now features a larger 11.2-inch freestanding center screen with 21% higher pixel density, delivering a sharper, more intuitive user experience. Smart storage, new cupholders, an improved wireless charger, and updated interior materials enhance both style and practicality.
Outside, the XC60 adopts the new XC90-inspired air intake, updated wheel options, and darker rear lights, emphasizing Volvo’s signature diagonal grille. Since its launch, the XC60 has sold over 1.5 million units worldwide and continues to set benchmarks for luxury SUVs.
Technology for the Future
For 2026, all new Volvo models will feature the next-generation Volvo Car UX, designed to make every interaction with your car more intuitive, seamless, and enjoyable. Built from real-world data and customer feedback, this system helps drivers access essential features easily while keeping focus on the road. Already available in the EX90, EX30, and updated XC90, Volvo Car UX will also roll out to existing Google-enabled Volvo vehicles later in 2025 via over-the-air updates, bringing millions of cars up to speed with the latest interface.
Volvo is also upgrading infotainment with the next-gen Snapdragon® Cockpit Platform, making Android Automotive-powered systems faster and more responsive, with graphics rendering up to 10 times quicker. Drivers benefit from smoother performance, smarter displays, and a safer, more personalized in-car experience across the 2026 lineup.
